• Risk considerations
• Fees, refunds and cancellation policies
• Practical wording refinements
• Common gaps and oversights
You’ll leave with:

Contract Reviews.
Your contract is one of your most important documents in private practice.
Our professional guidelines, codes, policies, statements and laws are all separate from contract law - and what may be perfectly compliant from a professional sense, may not be compliant under contract law. And that leaves you - and women - exposed.
Your contract protects you and women - when structured adequately and appropriately.
In our contract review service, we:
Review your contract and give you feedback and specific midwifery business advice on things to consider in view of the intersection between contract law and professional standards
Help you to ensure that your contract meets both contract law and professional standards
Help you to structure your contract if you’re new to private practice, or have been working without one so far
Help you strengthen an existing contract
Outline some of the tips, traps, things that can go awry and things to be mindful of - so that you can take considered thought about the contract of your contract
This is not legal advice - but midwifery business advice drawing from over 20 years in private practice, running businesses in multiple industries, regulatory experience and Masters-level business law study.
What does it cost?
Payment is made by internet transfer at the time of booking and our sessions take place via phone or Zoom. A typical contract review requires three hours; if you just have one or two questions, one hour is all that’s generally needed.
